1. Agreement & Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Quran Kareem mobile application or accessing this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms govern your use of the app provided via public distribution channels, including the Solana Mobile dApp Store, Google Play, IzzyOnDroid, and GitHub. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the application.

2. Intellectual Property & Open Source Licensing

2.1 Software Code (GPLv3)

Quran Kareem is free and open-source software licensed under the GNU General Public License v3 (GPLv3). You are free to inspect, modify, and redistribute the software in accordance with the terms of the GPLv3 license.

2.2 Sacred Content & Attributions

The text of the Holy Qur'an, translations, tafsirs, and audio recitations provided within the application are sourced from esteemed digital Islamic resources, including:

  • Tanzil Project: Verified Qur'anic text and translations.
  • QuranEnc & Quran.com: Translation databases and verified tafsir resources.
  • EveryAyah & Tarteel: Audio recitation streams and timing metadata.

All sacred text and educational resources remain the property of their respective creators and open Islamic scholarly projects.

3. Acceptable Use Guidelines

You agree to use Quran Kareem solely for lawful, spiritual, and educational purposes. You agree not to:

  • Distribute modified builds of Quran Kareem containing malicious software, spyware, or injected advertisements.
  • Misrepresent modified versions of the app as the official Quran Kareem software release.
  • Use automated scrapers or flood network endpoints of content providers (such as audio servers).

4. Solana Mobile dApp Store Publisher Provisions

As an application published on the Solana Mobile dApp Store, Quran Kareem complies with all Publisher Policies set forth by Solana Mobile:

  • The application contains no restricted content, gambling, deceptive practices, or illegal material.
  • The application respects user security and wallet safety guidelines.
  • The application does not collect user credentials or private keys.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

QURAN KAREEM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WHILE WE STRIVE FOR ABSOLUTE ACCURACY IN QUR'ANIC TEXT, TRANSLATIONS, AND AUDIO TIMING, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE 100% UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR PUBLISHERS OF QURAN KAREEM BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THIS APPLICATION.
